Pro-Wrestling Icon Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka Passes Away

Earlier today, WWE Hall of Famer and professional wrestling legend  Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka passed away at the age of 73 after losing his battle with stomach cancer. Despite what people may think of him personally, which is a muddy subject that I am going to attempt to touch on later in the week when I write a memorial article on him, Snukas lasting impact on the world of professional wrestling can not be forgotten, as his high-flying style was revolutionary to the business and inspired many future WWE Hall of Famers as well as stars of today. Snuka is survived by his two children: Jimmy Reiher Jr., and Sarona Moana-Marie Reiher Snuka-Polamalu, the former who used to wrestle for the WWE as Domino and Sim Snuka, and the latter who currently wrestles in the company as Tamina.

Scroll down below for video of one of Snukas most famous moments, his leap from the top of the steel cage on Don Muraco. As always, follow @SuplexesSpandex on Twitter for news updates from the wrestling world along with articles and reviews written by myself. Once again, my deepest condolences to the Snuka family at this time as they cope with their loss.
